I'm proud to say I have no idea what you're talking about.

But then again, I've given up on even paying attention to "important" issues.

Every US newssite that I had looked at were discussing whether Beyonce where singing live at Obama's inauguration or if it was playback...

(Now she has admitted that it WAS playback but she has promised that she will sing live at the Super Bowl. (I wonder what media will jump at then? A controversial commercial? A bad judgment by the referee? There must be something outside of the game that they could discuss)

I am happy to hear that you knew nothing about the above and I urge you to forget about all of it as soon as you have read it...

I'd rather she didn't sing at all because she's, IMO, vastly overrated.  But if other folks like her that's fine too.  I'd pay to see SOoT sing though.

You wouldn't have to pay much.. The price of a couple beers, maybe...

But it will cost a lot more to get him to STOP singing...

A couple of beers gets him singing.  A dozen makes him sleep.

Too close to the truth to be funny...

But, on the Beyonce topic, I don't think I had ever heard her sing a single song prior to the Super Bowl halftime show and.... now I hope I never hear her sing another. Good god. She is/was awful. At one point I commented: "maybe she has a cold or something." And as bad as her voice is, the songs she chooses to sing? Good god. She's supposed to be like a pop singer or something and there aren't even any hooks in there.

I'm not quick to criticize pop singers because, like, I'm not their target audience by any stretch of the imagination. But, I've heard plenty of other pop singers belt out absolute swill that is at least catchy. This one, she can't sing and she can't even pick halfway decent songs.

The wife says the only thing that is important is that the chick singer be hot. Um. Sorry. Strike three lady.
